Does it hurt? Be honest.
Yes — for about one second per strip. Anyone saying otherwise is selling you a razor. But hard wax grips the hair and releases the skin, so it hurts far less than strip wax. It gets easier every cycle, because the hair returns finer.
My skin went red. Did I damage it?
No. Redness is the hair leaving — a histamine response, not injury, and it usually settles within twenty minutes. The After-Wax Wipe cuts it faster. If you’re fair or reactive, wax at night and skip hot showers, exercise and sun afterwards.
How short can the hair be?
